I’m in this race because our state government has failed the people of Colorado, and it’s time to take back our way of life with principled leadership and a government that works for you.

Meet Lisa Frizell
After almost two terms as your Douglas County Assessor, and over twenty-four years in the Assessor’s Office, I have walked the walk of small and limited government while delivering best in class customer service. I am committed to fiscal responsibility and have leveraged technology and designed an award-winning website to deliver great services without adding staff. I have consistently implemented technology and process improvement to accommodate the County’s record setting growth and increases in workload.
Outside of the Assessor’s Office I’ve served in many leadership positions, and recently completed my term as President of the Colorado Assessor’s Association. As an avid volunteer, I’ve served as both Chair and Treasurer of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; been a Girl Scout Leader; Metropolitan District Board Director; County Delegate; Precinct Leader; and Chaired the Castle Rock Artfest for four years.
Having grown up in the county, I attended Douglas County schools and hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Colorado. My husband David and I have three children and two amazing granddaughters.
I am excited to bring my problem-solving skills, fiscal responsibility, and common-sense leadership to the Colorado State House of Representatives. These are challenging times that we live in, and we need people with new ideas to solve them. I believe that I am the right candidate at the right time for House District 45, and welcome your questions, comments, and feedback.
